LaNeshya K. Evans affectionally known as "Neshya" was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the youngest child of Mary Wallace and the loving and devoted wife of William Evans and mother of 3 boys William, Ryan and Christian. Neshya received her education in the Baltimore City Public System graduating in 1984 from Western High School.
Neshya is a devoted member of the branch of Zion called Shiloh under the leadership of the Rev. Jimmy C. Baldwin, Sr., Pastor. She is an active and committed member of the Excellent Praise Dance Ministry, where she serves as the Business Manager, and in years past has served as President of the Young Adult Usher Board, devoted member of the Young Adult Ministry, and President of the Family Support Ministry.
As a result of being a member of Expressions of Faith Dance Ministry, Neshya has been to various cities and states, nursing homes and senior citizen housing complexes, to share the word of GOD through dance. She has also danced in numerous plays written and produced by Kuumba Ensemble Theatre Arts Company. By invitation, she has ministered at local churches, and on numerous occasions has been invited to choreograph dances for dance ministries at various churches.
Neshya loves to help people and has a willing heart and a desire to please GOD. Her daily goal is to reach one person who needs to hear about the goodness of Jesus Christ.
