Leandrea affectionately known as "Lee" is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is the proud mother of David Lee and the youngest child of Ivey Lee Gilliam, Sr., and Bromby Ann Gilliam-Smith. She received her education from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School and has earned credits towards her degree in Information Systems Management from Sojourner Douglas College.
She is a faithful member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland, under the leadership of the Rev. Therm M. James, Sr., Pastor. Lee serves as the President of the BBC Dance/Mime Ministry and also serves on the Praise Team, Anointed Voices Choir, the Mass Choir, the Youth Ministry and assists the Parent Network and Nursery Ministries.
Aside from her church family, she's also a member of the Expressions of Faith Dance Ministry. This ministry serves nursing homes, senior citizens housing complexes, women shelters, as well as accepting invitations to minister at weddings, birthday and retirement celebrations, homegoing services and with the Kuumba Ensemble Theatre Arts Company.
Lee ministers in a variety of venues locally and has had the opportunity to travel to North Carolina with the Kuumba Ensemble. She also has been blessed by God to be asked to minister at the Mayor's Office of Employment Development New Beginnings Program.
When Lee is not dancing, you can find her assisting others in anyway she can, reading, writing, spending time with her family, enjoying hanging with friends.
Currently she serves as the exercise instructor, models and assists with choreography for J & Company Christian Modeling In Christ.
Lee is known for her gifts of help, dependability, selflessness, commitment, reliability and faithfulness.
